How do I book an appointment with my local PlatPharma pharmacy?
Please download THE ZOOM APP to your smart device. You only have to do it once to connect with our pharmacists at your convenience.
Booking an appointment with one of our pharmacies is easy.
Simply visit click on YOUR PHARMACY along the top menu.
Search for one of our participating pharmacies by entering your postcode to the find the one nearest to you. Please note your local pharmacy may not be a member of PlatPharma yet but why not ask them to join us!

How soon can I get an appointment?
This varies between pharmacies but most appointments will be available within ONE hour.
How long is the appointment?
All scheduled appointments last for up to 15 minutes.
Will I speak to a qualified pharmacist?
YES. All our pharmacists are fully vetted and registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council of Great Britain. They will display their registration certificate during the video consultation.
Will I have the same pharmacist every time I book an appointment?
Most pharmacies are staffed by the same pharmacist but there may be occasions when a different pharmacist will be on duty.
What if I need a face to face consultation?
Not all consultations are held remotely. We will advise you to have a face to face consultation with a pharmacist, GP, walk-in centre or any other appropriate healthcare professional. Pharmacists are trained and qualified to respond to symptoms, advice and signpost patients to receive the best healthcare advice.
Are video appointments safe?
Yes.
We have stringent safeguards in place to protect all your information and our pharmacists are fully trained and qualified to offer video consultations. You can request that the video consultation is recorded which means that as well as being available for you to replay at any time, our pharmacists can offer follow up appointments if necessary.
All your information is stored safely, in encrypted format on our secure system.
This makes it easier for you and the pharmacist to follow up on your health progress.
